Perez de Moya, Juan.

Perez de Moya published his Libro de cuenta in Toledo in 1554, and thereafter a whole series of works, the best known being his Filosofia secreta (1585 onwards). This work, originally published in 1562 in Salamanca, was reprinted in Madrid from 1598. This 1615 Madrid edition has the same number of leaves as the first and the second (1609) of which 1500 copies were printed. A popular work, it was reprinted right up to the late eighteenth century, changing its format to quarto in 1643. The work is in nine books dealing with various aspects of the subject, book IV, which is very short, being on geometry.
