Catalogue Note

Sarah Elizabeth Virgin was born on January 24, 1835 in Massachusetts. On March 25, 1856 she married Samuel Morrill, born in New Hampshire on August 29, 1829. The marriage was registered in New Hampshire and in Norwood, Stanly, North Carolina. Seven of the couple's eight children were born in Marlboro, Pitt, North Carolina.
