Catalogue Note

Thun is situated in the Canton of Berne in Switzerland and stands on the River Aar close to where it joins Lake Thun, about fifteen miles south-east of Berne itself.  Goodwin exhibited views of Thun at the Society of Painters in Water-colours in 1898 (no.118) and 1899 (no.30).
