The present painting is accompanied by a photocopy of a certificate, dated October 1958, by Giuseppe Fiocco and Rodolfo Pallucchini in which they attribute it to Canaletto himself. Another photocopy of an expertise (undated) by Antonio Morassi, also stating the painting is by Canaletto, accompanies this lot.
