Description

each with a trumpet-shaped patinated bronze standard emerging from an ormolu baluster-shaped leaf-cast urn, fitted with an ormolu collar fitted with three curved candle branches cast with Egyptian masks and foliate scrolls, centering a fourth candle nozzle, the circular base cast with ormolu anthemia, rosettes and scrolls. Fitted for electricity.

An identical set of candelabra on different bases was delivered to King Louis Philippe for the Château de Neuilly, sold Christie's, New York, May 21, 1996, lot 252. An identical candelabrum was offered, Sotheby's, New York, September 30, 2005, lot 263.
