comprising a pair of marquises and six matching fauteuils à la reine; each with a rectangular upholstered backrest carved with leaf tips and beading, downswept padded armrests carved with acanthus leaves, the loose-cushion bow-fronted seat carved with ribbons enclosing flowerheads raised on circular tapered fluted legs headed by rosettes; painted grey highlighted with gilding; upholstered in brown suede. Together with a similar painted and parcel-gilt fauteuil à la reine. 9 pieces.
