A Rare Russian Ivory Toilet Mirror circa 1780

with a breakfront cresting surmounted by a neo-classical baluster urn, flanked by spherical finials, above a panel applied with lunettes entwined with an oval boss, the arched plate surmounted by a medallion with a mask, enclosed by a border of lunettes with swags at the angles, on a rectangular base with canted sides and ebonised mouldings, the pierced borders with guilloche enclosing flowerheads, on a mustard velvet ground.
