the rectangular top centered by a rectangular plaque depicting a classical maiden on a hippocamp within a foliate border, the corners with profile medallions within foliate wreaths, each side inlaid with a diaper and with a handle, the lid enclosing a mirror and a removable tray with two glass receptacles and various ivory and steel-mounted spools.
