Description

the hinged, divided rectangular top opening to reveal a leather-lined writing surface, the frieze with an arrangement of six drawers, one with compartments for inkwells and sand pots, fitted with oval handles and surrounded by ormolu borders, raised on turned, tapered legs inset with beaded ormolu borders and in leaf-cast campana-shaped ormolu feet, the whole outlined with beaded ormolu borders. The legs removable for transport, secured by steel bolts.
