Description

  • height 39 1/4 in.
  • 100 cm
with later white enamelled dial, the striking movement with backplate inscribed Guillme Gille A Paris within an elaborately carved case surmounted by a figure holding a lyre, the sides with torsos and putti amidst palm fronds, the lower part with four horses emerging from cloud banks.
