the rectangular top above an arrangement of seven drawers around a kneehole centering a fall front, raised on square tapered legs joined by shaped stretchers; veneered with panels of Boulle marquetry in brass on a red tortoiseshell ground forming foliate arabesques, scrollwork and strapwork. Associated legs and stretchers; incorporating late 17th century elements.
