a fabergé gilded silver and wood double photograph frame, workmaster Anders Nevalainen, St. Petersburg, 1899-1908

the rectangular frames with pale wood mounts applied with four rosettes and linked by a hinged central shaft surmounted by a fluttering ribbon-bound pineapple finial, raised on three bun feet, marked with initials of workmaster and 88 standard, also with scratched inventory number 5759. Contained in original fitted oak case, the silk  lining of the cover gilt-stamped, Fabergé, St. Petersburg, Moscow, below the Imperial warrant.
