Description
- François-Honoré-Georges Jacob used this stamp from 1813-1829
- height 42 in.; width 22 1/2 in.
- 1.06 m; 57 cm
of rectangular outline fitted with a central chinoiserie lacquer panel rising vertically, flanked by two extending horizontally, each surrounded by an ormolu border cast with palmettes and contained within a rectangular mahogany case outlined with brass borders; raised on trestle supports with ormolu feet stamped JD.

Catalogue Note
An unstamped screen of identical design and with identical ormolu feet was sold, Sotheby's, Monaco, June 21, 1987. It is fitted with additional ormolu mounts around the frame and on the legs above the feet; the three panels are fitted with painted fabric panels.
