Description
- height 115 3/4 in.
- 2.90 m
each hexagonal lantern with silvered metal finial, the concave sides with later glazed panels within scrolled ormolu borders and with foliate silver motif centering the upper part, the angles of the lantern and the cylindrical pole veneered with tortoiseshell within molded ormolu borders.

Catalogue Note
The silver mark Torretta incorporating a stylized castle with three towers, has been in use by Genoese silversmiths since the 13th century, see Gianna Roccatagliata, Argenti Genovesi, De Ferrari Editore, Genoa, 1990, p. 87.
