each of oval form, depicting a woman in profile, one turned to the right, her hair with a garland of stars possibly representing Aurora, the other turned to the left, her hair with a garland of fleur-de-lys possibly representing Diana, the giltwood frames carved with scallop shells and scrolls and surmounted by fleur-de lys.
