President Kennedy's younger sister, Kathleen 'Kick', married William Cavendish, Marquess of Hartington, eldest son of the Duke of Devonshire in 1944. He was killed in action later that same year. She died in an airplane crash in 1948 and is buried in Edonsor Village, Chatsworth, England. Chatsworth, in Derbyshire, is the seat of the Dukes of Dvonshire.
