Catalogue Note

This lot is accompanied by a certificate by Dr. Klaus Ertz, dated 13 June 1995, in which he endorses the attribution to Jan Brueghel the Younger and suggests that the figures are by a follower of Frans Francken II or Hans Jordaens III. He dates the painting to the 1630s.
