Catalogue Note

The present painting is accompanied by photocopy certificates from Drs. Fossaluzza, Pedrocco and Martini who all believe the painting to be a work by Pagani. In a private communication Milan Togner, who recently published a monograph on Pagani, confirms the present painting to be by the artist and dates it to his early Venetian period.
