This picture is to be included in the forthcoming appendix to the catalogue raisonné on the artist by Nathalie Coural.  She compares it to the painting in Basel, Kunstmuseum, which is of the same size, also on copper, and dated 1650 (see N. Coural, Les Patel. Paysagistes du XVII siècle, Paris 2001, pp. 146-7, cat. no. PP17, reproduced p. 147).
