Engraving by P. Perret, 1579, a good impression of the third (final) state, on paper with an Arms of Amsterdam watermark, with wide margins, corners reinforced verso, some creases and other minor defects, otherwise in good condition 

Catalogue Note

Christ and the Woman taken in Adultery executed in the 1560's (now at the Courtauld Institute, London) is one of the few paintings by Pieter Bruegel after which an engraving was made.
