Wassily Kandinsky 1866-1944

The complete set comprising five lithographs printed in colours, three woodcuts (one printed in colours), and four etchings, each signed in pencil, loose in original portfolio, with title-page and justification, this copy numbered 160, from the edition of 200, published by Propylaën Verlag, Berlin, on wove paper, the full sheets, in good condition apart from violet, where the colour violet has changed to green, paper discoloration apparently associated with paper mounts, previously tipped to mounts with remains of glue at top corners verso,  contained in original embossed half green leather portfolio

Although Roethel records Kleine Welten VII as a colour woodcut it is, in fact, a lithograph printed in colours, as recorded later in the catalogue
