Having failed the America's Cup trials against Rainbow in 1935, Yankee was brought by Gerard Lambert and sailed that year to join the British racing circuit. This painting shows her sailing with Shamrock (JK3) off Cowes. Also Featured are Endeavour and the schooner Westward.
