The seven levels of hell; Thick Darkness, Smoke, Mud, Sand, Gravel and Jewels are depicted below while the six levels of heaven inhabited by the Gods and other divinities are seen above. Smaller yantras or cosmograms are seen on the left and right of the main figure.
