gilt lever movement, 39 jewels, mono-metallic balance, adjusted to 5 positions, two-tone black glossy dial, applied Arabic numerals with luminous hour marker at the quarters, four subsidiary guilloche dials indicating date at 3, month combined with 12-hour register at 6, day with constant seconds at 9 and moon phases combined with 30-minute register at 12, outer ring divided into 1/4 second, large luminous hands, aperture for four-digit year indication between 7 and 8, large brushed circular case with stepped bezel, round push buttons and screw-in crown, water-resistant type screw-down case back engraved "Limited Edition, Spitfire", case, dial and movement signed, with a stainless steel IWC deployant clasp.

The current example being offered at auction was produced in a very limited series of only 25 pieces especially for the Asian market in 2004.
