18k, finely pierced and engraved 14k white gold lever movement decorated with scrolls, 17 jewels, mono-metallic compensation balance, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, completely skeletonised dial accented by two diamond set baton hands, water-resistant type octagonal case secured by 8 screws, sapphire crystal display back, case, sapphire crystal top and movement signed, with a brushed 18k white gold Audemars Piguet link bracelet and concealed deployant clasp.   

Paul Louis Audemars and Paul Edward Piguet began their creation of fine skeleton watches in 1934. Unlike most of the skeletonised watches that are fitted with gilt or rhodium plated movements, the movement of this example is actually made of 14k white gold.
