Pair of Lefty Grove's Masonic Rings and A Lonaconing Police Badge

Description

This pair of rings features a 10k gold ring with masonic logo and .15 karat old European cut diamond. It is engraved Robert M. Grove, Oct. 24, 1929, just ten days after the A's shut down the Cubs to win the World Series. Size 11. The other ring is gold filled, with painted logo, size 9. The shank has been bent.



Grove was born in Lonaconing, MD and lived there for many years during and after his baseball career, running a pool hall/general store and even being elected police chief for six years. His silver colored police badge measures 1 1/2  in. by 1 in. and is embossed with an eagle and state of Maryland seal.
