Set against a pale green background, Ruth appears at the top of the dugout steps, bat in hand, waiting his turn to stride to the plate and thrill the packed house that came to bask in his glory. Rendered in crisp detail, the image is surrounded by clean white borders that end at four sharp corners.  Free from any readily noticeable degree of wear, this fresh looking Ruth card has earned the grade of 8 NM-MT by PSA, one of only 29 examples out of 470 submissions to do so.
