Aventurine quartz, jade and ruby necklace, Seaman Schepps

Strung with 37 aventurine quartz beads measuring approximately 15.9 to 13.5 mm. and with 2 cylindrical ruby beads, supporting a pendant of curved segments of jade framing an oval cabochon ruby, surmounted by a vase-shaped ruby bead, mounted in 14 karat gold, length 23 inches, unsigned.  Accompanied by a photocopy of a letter from Seaman Schepps.
