Catalogue Note

This extraordinary and early dining suite, comprising a dining table whose arched legs resemble roots sprouting form the trunk-like pedestal, and a set of chairs known as the “Hornback” or “Texas” model, were commissioned by the present owners, along with the possibly unique console table (lot 283).
