Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret

In 1946, Équipement de la Maison began producing furniture designed by Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret, and the model offered here appears in their 1947 catalogue.  The design was a collaboration between the two, with Perriand originally designing the model in 1939 and Jeanneret adapting it six years later.  In 1951, Bureau du Coordination du Bâtiment began producing the line of furniture as well, and both companies manufactured the pieces simultaenously for approximately one year, until Équipement de la Maison ceased production around 1952.

The interior design of this cabinet, comprising various compartments and two drawers, denotes it as the "bureau" model of the three-door cabinet.
