This table lamp is one of the few lamps, designed by Josef Hoffmann, from the early years of the Wiener Werkstätte known to exist. Only three lamps of this model were ever produced.
The drawing for this model can be found in the Wiener Werkstätte archives located at the MAK-Austrian Museum of Applied Arts/Contemporary Art, Vienna.
This lot is accompagnied by a certificate of authenticity by Günther Stefan Asenbaum.
