12-inch dial with bird and urn spandrels, matted centre with calendar aperture, seconds dial and applied with a plaque signed Peter Dupont, London, a strike/silent dial in the arch flanked by dolphin spandrels, five pillar rack and bell striking movement, the well figured case of rich colour with concave sided cresting inset with a wood fret and surmounted by giltwood finials, crossbanded broken-arch trunk door and similarly veneered plinth with stepped base
