12-inch dial with bird and urn spandrels, foliate engraved centre signed Geoe:Smith, Beamister with seconds dial and calendar sector, the added arch applied with a cast brass pierced plaque of two trumpeting putti, the movement with rack and bell striking, the associated case with swan neck cresting and brass terminals flanking an inlaid shell, brass capped hood pillars inlaid with stringing, the trunk inlaid with fans on the upper corners, trunk door of well figured wood inlaid with a shell and ivory escutcheon, similarly decorated plinth with bracket feet, stringing throughout
