the body of seven ribs of simulated rosewood, the table and the sound hole edged with stained fruitwood and inset with pearl dots, the latter with inset carved wood sunburst rose, the neck arm and fluted column also painted in simulation of rosewood, three strings over the two fingerboards and eight diapason strings, two with ditals and three with brass tuning blades, on brass ball feet, with tuning crank, in original wooden case
