Catalogue Note
The present group of drawings are studies for the artist's earliest Cross Corner projection pieces. These works were begun in 1966, and had a distinctive sculptural quality, which made light as a tangible material and alluded to three dimensions. The earliest projection works were formed by light projected across a corner from a slightly modified quartz halogen projector.
