12-inch dial with mask and leaf spandrels, matted centre with engraved calendar aperture and seconds dial, the arch with a circular plaque signed William Kipling, London flanked by dolphin spandrels, the movement with five ring turned knopped pillars and inside countwheel, the associated case with domed caddy cresting above panels of blind fret, brass capped hood pilasters, the broken-arch trunk door veneered with well figured burr wood within a herringbone border, the plinth crossbanded and similarly veneered
