31-cm engraved silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals signed Gt ter Vooren & Zoon Amsterdam, foliate pierced hands and alarm disc, subsidiary seconds, apertures for date and polychrome day with day sign, a polychrome painted landscape below with pyramids, classical ruins and penny moonphase showing the scene of Mozes being found in the Nile by the princess of Egypt, movement with anchor escapement, trip repeating Dutch quarter striking on two bells, alarm on a single bell, mahogany case with shaped hood, surmounted by a giltwood atlas and two angels, moulded cornice with carved ornaments over pierced front and side frets, break arch door with brass capped pilasters, trunk with canted corners, rectangular door with foliate ornament with corner rozettes, basket lenticle, moulded bombé base raised on claw feet
