24.5-cm silk covered dial, engraved chapter ring with Roman numerals and full outer minute marking, finely foliate pierced and engraved hands, pierced cast ornament below, signed GABRIEL DVVAL A PARIS, similarly signed two train movement  with five baluster pillars, verge escapement and silk suspended pendulum, outer numbered count wheel striking on a surmounted bell, ebony and boulle veneered case with arched pediment surmounted by three flambeau finials, hinged glazed door with relief brass lining, glazed sides and string inlaid back door, moulded plinth raised on claw feet
