18-cm relief brass dial with cartouche Roman numerals, movement with baluster pillars signed C.les Balthazar A Paris, verge escapement and silk suspended pendulum, pull quarter repeat on two bells, one hammer removed, shaped boulle inlaid case adorned throughout with foliate ormolu scrolls, surmounted by a putto, the whole raised on scrolled feet, together with a matching ogee shaped bracket
