Catalogue Note

A native of Liaoning, Dongbei province, Ning Fucheng lived in Beijing and was half illiterate. Influenced by Wu Changshuo, Ning specialized in calligraphy, ink and color painting and carving. Additionally, he was a member of the Beijing Calligraphy Society.
