There was recently a major retrospective of the photographs of the Scottish-born, New York based photographer Albert Watson at the Rotonda di Via Besana in Milan. Prints of this image and the following lot were both exhibited.

The photographer's studio has confirmed that prints of 'Golden Boy' in this size are limited to twenty-five with four artist's proofs.
