The composition is very similar to that of a large signed painting by Guardi showing a Fantasy landscape with a fisherman stand, in the collection of A. Scotti-Casanova, Milan (see A. Morassi, Guardi. I Dipinti, vol. I, Venice 1993, p. 480, cat. no. 919, reproduced vol. II, fig. 812).
