- a portrait of a nobleman, at the age of 44, standing half-length, wearing a black suit with white lace collar, a golden chain with crucifix, a sword, and holding gloves in his left hand, standing next to a table
- inscribed with the age of the sitter and dated upper left: AE (in ligature) TAT. SUAE (in ligature) 44/.1591 and charged with the coat-of-arms of the sitter upper right
- oil on canvas
