Catalogue Note

Leschetizky uses the names Daisy and Evelyn, sometime even in the same letter. Evelyn Suart was the mother of Diana Gould, the second wife of Yehudi Menuhin: she was a fine concert pianist and a pupil of Leschetizky. See also Lots 61 & 62.
