quartz movement made with natural quartz, silvered matte dial, arabic numerals, outer calibrated for fifths of a second, sloping case for table top use, battery charge indicator and seconds adjusting buttons, in carrying case, case, dial, movement and carrying case signed, accompanied by rating certificate, certificate of origin and handling instructions.

Catalogue Note
This type of accurate timepiece was the beginnings of the quartz revolution. Already in 1958 quartz had started to replace the standard mechanical regulators and by 1963 Seiko had miniaturized it enough to make it portable.
