Conceived between 1913-15 and cast in bronze in three editions; an edition of 4 examples measuring 148cm., an edition of 10 measuring 47cm., and an edition of 10 measuring 45cm., (of which the present work is an example).

This work is a study of the sculpture commemorating General Alvear which stands in Buenos Aires.
