Description
- Patek Philippe & Co., Genève
- diameter 38mm.
Provenance
The Reference 5125
Patek Philippe created the Ref. 5125 in 2003 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of a respected German retailer Wempe and 75th anniversary of the exceptional business relationship between Patek Philippe and Wempe. There exist three series of 125 pieces produced in each gold colour and one series of only 100 pieces in platinum.
The annual calendar movement employed in the Ref. 5125 is programmed to take account of the varying lengths of each month from the first of March to the end of February in the following year. Different from the pervious annual calendar movements, this watch comes with a subsidiary dial combining the moon phases with the indication of 24 hours divided into diurnal and nocturnal time.
Catalogue Note
This pink gold annual calendar wristwatch was produced in a limited series of 125 pieces and the current example is numbered 50.
