18k, nickel lever movement with Cotes de Geneve decoration (Caliber 95290), mono-metallic compensation balance, 54 jewels, adjusted to 5 positions, minute repeating on two gongs, silvered matte dial with applied Arabic numerals, outer minute ring with applied disc indices, eccentric subsidiary guilloche dial for seconds at 9, leaf hands, oversized circular case with down-turned lugs, minute repeating function operated by a slide in the band, pressure-shut sapphire crystal display back to reveal the movement, case, dial and movement signed, with an 18k yellow gold IWC buckle.  

The movement chosen for this limited edition Portuguese minute repeating wristwatch is based on a 1920's IWC pocket watch movement. The present example being offered at auction is numbered 70 and it was produced in a limited series of only 250 pieces in 1995.
