Catalogue Note

The present manuscript is a notebook by Ghirondi containing diverse quotations and excerpts from the works of many authors.  On fols. 1r, 2r Ghirondi writes that he makes entries in his notebook every day before dawn.  On fol. 29r, Ghirondi has pasted in a note by an older Italian hand, and on fols. 66v-67r, he has recorded a prayer by Rabbi Calimani.  For information about the author see Montefiore mss. 56-57 (Lot 51).
