A family record attached to the backing of one portrait identifying the sitters as Derick Wyncoop and Anna Elting Wyncoop.

A History of the First Presbyterian Church in Durham, Freehold, Albany County, New York, written by Joshua G. Borthwick and originally published on April 5, 1884 in the Catskill Examiner noted, A meeting was held Dec. 16, 1795, at the house of Capt. Elihu Hart. He was a physician and lived in Broadway where the Derick Wyncoop House is situated. No further reference to the house was found.
